The AKC Breeder of Merit program was established to honor qualified breeders who are dedicated to their breeds as well as their dogs. To qualify for the AKC Breeder of Merit designation, I had to document that I bred or co-bred at least 4 dogs with titles in conformation, performance, or companion events. Additionally, I had to show that I have participated in AKC events for over 5 years, belong to an AKC member club, certify that I perform all recommended health screenings on my breeding dogs, and ensure that 100% of my puppies were AKC registered.

Since 2018, I have regularly stewarded conformation shows across the U.S. In 2024, I was proud to serve as an outside ring steward for the American Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club National Specialty in Mesquite, Texas. In 2023, the AKC initiated its Certified Steward program, and I promptly completed the necessary requirements to become certified in early 2024.

Since March 2022, I have been an associate member of the ACKCSC, the AKC parent club for Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I currently serve on the Bylaws, Regional Clubs, and FastCAT committees.

I have been a member of the CKCSCGH since 2007, when I acquired my first Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.  I served as the rescue chair from 2009-2012 and the legislative liaison from 2012-2025. I have chaired the annual health clinic since 2018 and provide legal counsel to the club as needed.

Since 2007, I have been a member of the CKCSCUSA, the original national breed club for Cavalier King Charles Spaniels in the USA, as well as its regional clubs, Cavaliers of the South and Cavaliers of the Midwest. 

I have been a member of the TCGH since 2016 and have served as president of the club since 2024. In addition, I chair the annual health clinic, act as the legislative liaison, and coordinate breeder referrals.

In 2025, I became the co-owner of a Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka, which is recognized as the AKC's newest toy breed. I am also currently applying for membership to the RTBCA, the AKC parent club for Bolonki. 

I am a dual citizen of the USA and Canada. I am currently applying for membership in the Canadian Kennel Club to register my dogs and show them in Canada as I do in the USA.
