We try to have a theme for the names of dogs in our breeding lines. This makes it a lot easier to remember pedigrees of our dogs and how they are related to each other. Molly's name ties together both her sire and dam perfectly. Her father is Harry in Meadowlake's gemstone/Harry Potter line, and her mother is Mia in Meadowlake's music-themed line. Since Mia is GCH CH Meadowlake Dancing Queen, we use the ABBA song "Kisses of Fire" for her registered name. Because she is a ruby, we gave her the call name Molly after the red-haired Molly Weasley in the Harry Potter series.
Molly successfully passed her AKC Temperament Test in November 2025 and earned her first suffix title! We are excited to see what she does next!
